Guidelines for Funding - AASRA MembersAll funding is subject to the approval and sole discretion of the Board of Directors. Requirements: Applicant must have been an Alberta resident for a minimum of two (2) years. Applicant must have been a member of AASRA for a minimum
consecutive two (2) years. Applicant must have been involved in supporting AASRA such
as: AASRA shall consider assistance towards: Registration, Accommodation, Transportation AASRA shall not consider assistance towards: Food, Clothing, Equipment An application for funding, with complete details of the program/event, place, date, etc., must be made to the Sports Director on the appropriate form (available on-line), preferably by the March 31st 2009 - but no later than sixty (60) days prior to the event/program. This time frame is required by AASRA, to get approval from the Gaming Commision if funds are to be used from our Casino profits. Payment of all previously approved funding, will be done directly by the AASRA Treasurer on the member’s behalf, or in some cases, upon the Treasurer receiving original receipts from the member. Funding will be considered and approved for one chaperone of a junior AASRA member to cover transporation to an event, as long as the qualifying chaperone is a current member of AASRA and is actively involved in AASRA. Funding to AASRA
members annually, shall not exceed fifty percent (50%) of the balance of
Association funds, at the end of any given fiscal year. These guidelines are subject to change without notice by the Board of Directors. All REQUESTS SHOULD
